Celestion G12M-65 CREAMBACK 16 Ohm guitar speaker, as a brand new  guitar speaker!  It is newly manufactured in Ipswich, England.  New in opened box.  There may be some minor cosmetic imperfections that may or may not be visible to you in the photo.  Good if you are installing it for yourself.

This Speaker

This returned speaker has no cosmetic blemishes or signs of installation.  It looks new likely because I was the first to open the box during inspection.  The OEM box has few stickers or sticker remnants -which do not cover the UPC sticker.  It has no structural blemishes such as dents or small punctures.

    2. minor structural blemishes such as dents or small punctures, where the speaker was not affected.
  • Speaker itself may show cosmetic scuffs or signs of previous installation

Open Box Special!

Our open box offers have passed our 11-point inspection which means they do NOT have the following when we ship them out:

  • bent/warped rim or basket
  • wrinkled/warped/creased cone
  • coil-rub
  • non-standard incursion and excursion under electrical load
  • They may have been hooked up or installed into an amp and played for testing/brief trial.

The OEM box may be reinforced/repaired internally to secure the speaker for transport.

The G12M Greenback is perhaps the definitive vintage Celestion ceramic magnet guitar speaker. Developed in the mid-sixties it was quickly adopted by players like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page who typified the louder and more aggressive blues rock playing styles that came to characterize that era.

The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody G12M tone but handles greater power, making it ideally suited for today’s amps when a vintage tone is desired. The increased power handling brings with it additional low end grunt complementing the warm and vocal mid range crunchy upper- mids and sweet refined highs.
