Originally re-released a little over a decade ago, the G12H guitar speaker remains hugely popular with players looking to recreate the classic sounds of 60s and 70s rock. With a strong, aggressive low-end and powerful low-mids, the G12H penetrates any mix with an attacking upper mid-range and an ice-cool top- end. Used singly or in quartets it provides serious attitude to soft amp tones, easily cutting through loud stage levels for chord work, and imparting a hard edge to single notes. A favourite in the 'boutique' amplifier market, the G12H guitar speaker is often used on its own or paired with a Celestion Blue or Gold for a full-bodied sound that adds ceramic attitude to the chime of an Alnico speaker.

Description

This Unit

This open box, installed  return deviates from the listing image in the following ways:

  1.  Cosmetic Blemish of my glue bleeding through back magnet cover sticker (which was loose) does not obfuscate print.
  2. After market sticker placed over OEM MPN/UPC sticker does obfuscate print.  MPN can still be carefully verified.
  3. Otherwise looks new, no signs of installation.

Open Box Special!

While we have the OEM box open during inspection, we may internally reinforce it to better secure the speaker during shipping.  Ultimately, the box and guitar speaker(s) may have cosmetic issues (that may not be not shown in the photo of this listing) that should not effect their function.

Quality Assurance

Our open box offers have passed our 11-point inspection which means they do NOT have the following when we ship them out:

  • bent/warped rim or basket
  • wrinkled/warped/creased cone
  • coil-rub
  • non-standard incursion and excursion under electrical load
They may have been hooked up or installed into an amp and played for testing/brief trial.
