Open Box Special!

Our open box offers have passed our 11-point inspection which means they do NOT have the following when we ship them out:

• bent/warped rim or basket – see note below
• wrinkled/warped/creased cone
• coil-rub
• non-standard incursion and excursion under electrical load
  They may have been hooked up or installed into an amp and played for testing/brief trial.
  Beyond our open box discount, we further discount depending upon the degree of cosmetic or other damage (that would also not be expected to impact speaker function) to the manufacturer box or speaker.

  These Speakers Inquire about volume discounts if quantity permits.  These open box speakers vary in condition, deviating from the stock photo in that the following ways: OEM box cosmetic – stickers or sticker remnants -which do not cover the UPC sticker. minor structural blemishes such as dents or small punctures, where the speaker was not affected. Speaker itself may show cosmetic scuffs or signs of previous installation.   This Speaker It  may be overstated to say that the basket is warped because there is no corresponding wrinkled/warped/creased cone or coil-rub.  However, when you lay it face down on a flat surface, the rim does not lay completely flat all the way around.  So it appears that the edge of the rim is warped or bent.  However the the inner rim where the cone attaches must be close enough because there is no coil-rub and plenty of incursion/excursion. You could try using all 8 screws to secure it to the cabinet to remedy this.  The speaker looks fine so there are no photos of it, only the stock image.
