This speaker has an unmistakably vintage tone.  However, this is a new twist on the original vintage Jensen guitar speaker.  Partly because it is being manufactured by Jensen in Italy.

However, they have followed the original specifications for years now there.  By now they have matched the tone (and one audio engineer says they “nailed it”) as closely as possible with these reproductions – while also meeting the demands of a modern speaker. You will be surprised how good it sounds and how well it will perform right out of the box.  Much better performance than an older speaker, while true to tone.

NOS?

These speakers might be called new old stock, but that would be confusing, because they are recently manufactured reproductions that are by now a few years old.  The manufacturer seal is unbroken on the OEM box they are shipped in. You can hear and feel the speaker sliding around a bit inside the OEM box.  While this is normal,  we can either double box or open and reinforce the OEM box to prevent this sliding upon request.
